All I could think about yesterday was
film vs. journalism
producer vs. photographer
East vs. West

Copying Bran Stark's bangs
Trimmed my bangs by myself again. Twice today actually.
Only just got into Game of Thrones for real. The long wait for me to watch Season 1 was worth it. Now only one week till Season 2 ends! Ugh.
I love the Starks and I was always fascinated by Bran’s bangs. Full straight bangs always look good on children, and this is the first year I got them again since I was like 5. Though...

My friend Raine is awesome.
So so flattered she featured me in this. <3

Got my letters to Chonnam National University...
Already had the scanned files but now I have glorious full-color high quality paper copies of proof~
Have to get some documents from my college on Friday and get new ID photos taken so I can apply for my visa. All this trouble…
Excited but still really nervous. Won’t know my classes/profs until the end of May and then I have to talk to them and apply for corss-enrollment.

So I've been on a book marathon these past few...
Listed most of what I’ve read so far in 2012 on my Books page
Reading all these YA books (practically the only genre I read religiously) made me realize that Ireally want to write a YA novel. And I’m almost 100% I will. :P
Also, I realized that maybe I should really start seriously reviewing them, so that I actually have something to blog (or vlog) about and practice writing...

Sometimes it amuses me how many heroines' names...
Katniss (The Hunger Games), Katara (Avatar: The Last Airbender), Katsa (Graceling)…
All start with Kat and yet all very unique names…
There are probably more, but these are the ones that stand out the most/I remember the most.
When I was younger, I rarely encountered characters that had names even close to mine (Katria) but now it’s like all sorts of names keep popping up.

I still do wonder how many fears I have.

Katria's Reading List 2012 →
I was originally planning on using this page for both my film and book lists after seeing the layout on thespngames’ Must Reads page, which was much more accomodating for books, I decided to separate them :P
So there, I’ve started putting some of the best books I’ve read so far in 2012. I have not included (yet) books I re-read/am re-reading ASIDE from The Bartimaeus Trilogy. I also...

If they ever do make a Divergent movie, I think...
Those three aren’t necessarily my favorite characters, but I really love them and their personalities and their roles in the plot. I just feel like they’re so complex and developed, especially Christina and Peter.
I don’t have a real solid ideal actor for each of them, but I am hoping that if Divergent does get adapted into a film (soon or not soon) just so I can see these guys...
Insurgent is still haunting me.
You could have tried, you coward! Tried, and failed, because you love me!
– Insurgent (One of the most beautiful lines in this book for me.)
I just finished reading Insurgent.
OH. MY. GOD. I don’t even know what to do with that ending.
Ugh, such an amazing book. Well worth the wait, and I’m sure the next book (Detergent lol) will be worth it too.

LOVE AND RESPECT
Why do you like Jay Park?
He made idols/artists seem more REAL to me.
Obviously, Jay is incredibly talented but I admire him on a whole other degree from most celebrities because he seems like such a regular guy. He’s very sincere about what he does and I feel like he’s always had good and honest intentions entering the entertainment industry.
I first became a fan of Jay because when I...
